Following discussions with both Moscow and Kyiv, Trump stated that he had “great talks” with both sides and sees a “good possibility” of reaching a peace agreement.
His remarks have stirred international reactions, particularly within NATO, as the alliance grapples with the implications of U.S.-led peace efforts.

Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine on February 24, 2022, marked the most significant conflict in Europe since World War II.
What Moscow initially described as a “special military operation” quickly escalated into a prolonged and devastating war, displacing millions, causing massive infrastructure damage, and leading to severe economic and humanitarian crises.
The invasion was met with strong resistance from Ukraine, which, under the leadership of President Volodymyr Zelensky, has consistently rejected any settlement that undermines its territorial integrity and sovereignty.
